The Varsity Grille in Opelousas

This spot is the one I like best. I visit a lot of restaurants but here I go the most. The team is very welcoming and the cuisine they offer is so yummy. I am always happy to have a nice dinner in this place. Highly recommended.

I'm in Opelousas, LA working and my wife and step kid came down to visit. We picked Varsity Grille and it was perfect. The food is awesome and prices were great. Every daiquiri is on point and we will definitely be traveling back to try Sunday dinner. 5 stars!!

I have eaten here several times and never once had a bad experience. Varisty pro burger is easily the best burger in town, not to mention its HUGE. The onion rings are amazing as well. The stuff is usually very polite, only a couple occasions Ive dealt with a young lady with a poor attitude but The young man who took my order the last few times has been so genuinely polite. Im not sure about the wait times when eating in bc I usually order out, the wait time for a pick up order is usually 15 min. I would definitely recommend

Great food. Reasonably priced

Tried placing to go order for an hour no one would answer the phone. Tried placing order through Waitr, restaurant never got around to rejecting or accepting the order. So I finally had to get Waitr to just cancel it.Not worth the headache!!!!!

The Food was amazing & when it came to our table it was fresh cooked and (hot) the waitress ( Christian ) did a great job

This restaurant was great! Great service and wonderful food! The grilled shrimp was fantastic! They have plenty of TVs to watch while you eat! Bathrooms were clean! Great job Varsity Grille!

Good classic food.

Disappointed. This place has a decent rating. Wait time and price was not bad, however there is mold on my tomato for my salad which makes me reconsider even eating the burger. I noticed the mold on my tomato when I was looking for the Italian dressing, they forgot to give me a salad dressing.

At the first moment you come to that place the waiters give you a pleasant feeling. Very friendly crew, it is a friendly restaurant to enjoy with your friends or with your date. Excellent cuisine, skillful chief cook and stuff, decent cost and professional service. Highly recommended.

Would not recommend to my worst enemy. This was my mixed drink with watered down coke it tasted like, stay away

Good food, service was a little slow considering we were the only ones there. Nice and helpful staff. Hope the place sticks around.

Good food nice wait staff

I order fried pickles as an app they get dropped 30 minutes later after I inquired about them. They had no sour cream for my potato skins. Everything took forever and was over fried. The manager sat at the bar the whole time. To go orders seemed to take precedence over dine in orders. Won’t be back.

Food is great, but customer service could be better. As well as adding more phone lines possibly, called back to back for 30 mins. straight and still no one has picked up.
